Guided kayak and canoe tours year-round, with rentals available on Tidelands Pond. Located on the southwest side of Jekyll Island, adjacent to the salt marsh on the pristine 'Tidelands' salt pond, 4-H Tidelands Nature Center offers hands-on coastal ecology programs for the general public and school groups, guided kayak tours, canoe rentals, and a live coastal species exhibit gallery. In keeping with Georgia 4-H Environmental Education program objectives, Tidelands strives to develop an awareness, knowledge, and appreciation for the environment, as we connect participants with Georgia's coastal ecosystems.

Kayak, canoe and paddleboard tours and rentals of Jekyll and St. Simons Island. Every product we sell – ecotours, lessons, or merchandise – helps you contribute to conserving the Golden Isles. We participate in the 1% for St. Simons program, and an additional 5% of our gross sales is split evenly between St. Simons Land Trust and One Hundred Miles. All of our ecotours are led by a PhD Conservation Biologist, and all of our guides have a passion for sharing these beautiful waters with others.
